We secured planning permission through Medway Council and progressed the scheme through a full Stage 4 Design process, incorporating detailed M&E design, SAP assessments and a fire risk strategy. The project involved constructing a substantial front extension to create an additional dwelling, alongside raising the roof of the existing property to form a spacious loft conversion. The property was fully modernised with brand-new mechanical and electrical systems, air source heating, high-performance windows and doors and contemporary kitchens. We also created 12 ensuite bedrooms, each finished to a high standard to ensure long-term durability and ease of maintenance. This HMO redevelopment not only enhances the building’s functionality but also contributes much-needed housing solutions during an ongoing housing crisis.
