Jerry Overbury
Chief Executive
Jerry has built up an unrivalled network of contacts and enviable reputation after more than 30 years in the property industry. Starting out in finance, he began building up his own property portfolio, but soon moved into property full-time. While building up his business, he has simultaneously run successful property supplements in Kent-based newspapers, helping his reach and standing grow even further. Jerry has since made it a family affair, forming Kent Property Group with his son Dan, where their attention to detail, professionalism, efficiency and value has set them out from the crowd.
Dan Overbury
Managing Director
In his role as Managing Director, Dan oversees all projects, tradesmen and contractors to ensure everything runs smoothly. Getting into the construction industry straight from school, he soon moved into property and has built up a wealth of experience over the past nine years. Sometimes running three or four major projects simultaneously, while keeping 60 maintenance jobs running on time is no easy task – but something he carries out with a professionalism that has clients returning to the company again and again. He said: “I like to run what I call a key to key to service. If you give me the key to your property, I’ll ensure everything is completed to the agreed budget and timeframe before giving you the key back - with everything finished to the very highest of standards.”
Dan Fifield
Operations Director
Since joining Overbury Estates, Dan has used his vast experience within the property industry to great effect. After finishing an apprenticeship in carpentry straight from school, he soon moved into property maintenance and refurbishment. Working initially for companies that looked after the maintenance of Brompton Army Barracks and then Army property, his next job managing Housing Association stock led to him looking after more than 4,000 properties, often juggling dozens of jobs at a time. He also had 15 operatives and sub-contactors under his management, taking IOSH and ILM management and safety courses. His experience across these different sectors and leading large teams laid the platform for his current role of Operations Director, where he takes care of the maintenance side of the business and is involved in the larger projects undertaken by the company.
Ben Crump
Operations Manager
After more than 10 years in a maintenance management role for Clarion, Ben has moved to Overbury Estates as the company continues to grow. With experience in juggling numerous jobs at a one time, his background saw him dealing with contracts, managing direct labour and budgets, among many other areas. He now helps to oversee the maintenance arm of Overbury, looking after general maintenance and upgrades of kitchens and bathrooms in private and rented accommodation, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to budget – as well as anything else that falls under this side of the business.
Naomi Fifield
Quantity Surveyor
With Overbury Estates taking on many large-scale projects, quantity surveyor Naomi was brought on board for her vast legal knowledge and experience. With a degree in law and Masters in quantity surveying, she worked in London for an engineering consultancy for four years, before moving to Keir to work as an assistant quantity surveyor. Her varied role now includes overseeing costs, contracts and legal matters, while ensuring the firm abide by all current building and planning legislation and regulations.
Katie Overbury
Office Manager
Starting out her career in retail before becoming a legal secretary gave Katie the perfect platform to take on the office manager role at the company. Extremely organized, quick and efficient, she is the one who keeps everything running like clockwork behind the scenes and will often be your point of contact at the office.
Steph Glumart
Accounts Manager
Coming from a recruitment firm in London, Steph was well versed in juggling a wide variety of tasks. Like-wise, she is now happy to take on numerous responsibilities at Overbury Estates. In her role of accounts manager, she helps manages all the financial ins and outs of the business – and is integral to keeping the company running smoothly.
Nichola Parmenter
Maintenance Co-ordinator
Nichola joined the company in September, bringing with her a wealth of experience. A HR specialist for a large portion of her career, she worked in the civil service for 28 years as a HR advisor before moving on to work in the NHS. Now in a new role with Overbury Estates, she uses her organisational and interpersonal liaising strengths to build and maintain relationships with the staff and tenants that sit under the maintenance arm of the vast Overbury Estates umbrella.
Rachel Aldridge
Maintenance Co-ordinator
Joining the firm in June, Rachel’s organisational skills have seen her become an integral part of a busy team that looks after dozens of jobs at a time. In her previous job on a busy housing planning department, she planned and managed the work of a team of operatives for seven years. Now, taking on a similar role for the company, she believes “having structure is the key to running everything smoothly.”
